David’s role within Inspire is to drive the business forward. Apart from a Tuesday morning networking @BNICarnegie he is normally found leading his senior team, speaking at symposia or writing Insight articles across a range of evolving web topics.
His Insight articles are now widely read and published, indeed in the last year those articles have been read well over 9 million times.
He has a unique perspective on the Evolution and Trajectory of the Web, with nearly 20 years’ experience in a range of web and IT roles plus several years in Sales & Marketing for Scottish Brewers, now Heineken UK.
Between completing his MSc and founding Inspire, David worked across the IT and project management functions for Norwich Union, Aviva and RAC-Auto Windscreens, delivering multi-million pound Business Change and IT projects.
David’s academic and professional qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Business Economics (Personnel) from the University of Paisley, an MSc in Information Technology (Systems) from Heriot-Watt University and PRINCE2 Practitioner-level certification.
